PalmOne Wi-Fi Card To Ship Next Month

By

Reading time 1 minute

The Register is reporting that PalmOne’s $130 Wi-Fi SD-cards should ship next month, although they’ll only work with the Zire 72 and Tungsten T3 models. Palm is sort of dropping the ball on Wi-Fi implementation, something that is hopefully just a small hiccup in the current product lineup, as future products should (as in I think they should, not “rumors suggest”) almost all come with Wi-Fi networking built-in.

Also, despite some talk that the PalmOne-branded Wi-Fi card would come with some memory built-in (128MB, last I heard), there’s no mention of that in El Reg’s story (nor in current information coming from Palm).
