Our buddy Mark sent us these pictures of the Panasonic G70, the compact phone that’s for the ladies, now available in his native Kuwait. The G70 isn’t a new phone, but I’d yet to see anyone—male or female—use one in person.
Despite the fact I am a misogynistic woman-hater, raised exclusively on a diet of James Bond movies and Def Leppard, I really love the gadgets that attempt to appeal to women by integrating into their lifestyles instead of just being, you know, pink. Granted, a phone that doubles as a mirror-screen compact is still pretty girly, sort of the easy way out from a design standpoint, but at least they’re trying. Maybe while I’m sitting here finishing up my latest column for Men Are Fantastic! Monthly some of you smelly girls could offer up some examples of what gadgetry you think really hits the spot when it comes to appealing to the less-penised sex.

Update: Gizmodo reader Jen says,”um… if anything, this looks like a packet of birth control. obvs. and i think we all know women want to look like they’re whipping out contraception when really they’re just answering the phone…”
See, this is the sort of thing men don’t think of. Maybe they make the phone an easily concealable patch?
