We’re only one day behind Japan now! Today, Panasonic announced that the US is going to get their own version of the SDR-S200 camcorder. The SDR-S150 is identical to the SDR-S200 in every way, and will still support SDHC and SD cards and record using MPEG2.
The Japanese version is available July 8th in Japan, so expect the US version to be available shortly after. No pricing has been set.
