My mom got me a set of Candela fake candles for Xmas last year, and while I like the concept a lot (rechargeable LED candles, in essence), they have been of marginal use—they’re just not bright enough. Philips is launching a new line of LED candles called the ‘Aurelle,’ and while they are certainly attractive enough, will they be bright enough to use for anything but decoration?
