Need a bit of freshman orientation for Pixar’s prequel to its beloved Monsters, Inc.? Well you could do a lot worse than Monster University’s first full trailer, courtesy of the U.K. The trailer is excellent, obviously, and the movie looks both fun and funny (and wonderfully animated, of course). But I have to wonder what have happened if you told Motley Crue in 1989 that “Kickstart My Heart” would, almost 25 years later, be used in a trailer for what is more or less a Disney children’s cartoon film? I guess I don’t need to worry until Dreamworks uses Warrant’s “Cherry Pie” for How to Train Your Dragon 2.
