Plastic Logic Planning Color E-Reader Display For 2012

Though the Plastic Logic Que, an expensive, amply-screened ebook reader, is still in delay purgatory, the company says that it is already working on a color display that should be completed by the end of next year.

The company—which itself is not up for sale, thank you very much—has built a functioning color display at their laboratory in Cambridge (how fancy). They anticipate that it will be ready for mass production in 2012, by which time, unfortunately, the world will have passed ebook readers over for more fully functioning tablets or otherwise have been destroyed by the Mayan apocalypse.
