One of my favorite things about editing Gizmodo is making Brian over at Kotaku beg for links. Sometimes I ask him to rub my feet. Sometimes I ask him to explain himself very slowly, then close the AIM window and do it all over again while I fry up some bacon. Today I’ll give him a freebie—he’s claiming that inside sources are telling him that the Playstation 3 is going to be much more powerful than the Xbox 360.
Personally, I think Sony has worn out their welcome when it comes to claiming the power of their unannounced consoles (the Playstation 2 was infamously supposed to render Toy Story in real time), but this info supposedly came from developers familiar with both, so who knows? One thing’s for sure. It’s coming out at least 6 months later—it should be faster.
