Obviously, most men will never understand the annoyances of searching through a purse in the dark for keys, cellphone or chewing gum, but a Brunel University student realized the absolute desolation we ladies have faced in the past and come up with the Sun Trap, a handbag powered with solar energy. Using a solar cell attached to the outside of the bag, energy is trapped from sunlight and stored in an internal battery, which then lights up the lining of the purse (which is made from an electroluminescent material). The zipper actually acts as a switch to turn on the light and if you leave your bag open by mistake, the light will go off automatically after 15 seconds. Bitchin'! I want me one of those!
