Pointless gadget of the week: NetGear’s USB 2.0 Ethernet adapter. Now a USB 2.0 Wi-Fi adapter makes sense. But how many people out there own a computer that is new enough to have USB 2.0, but that doesn’t already have a network card? Or are these adapters just so easy and inexpensive to make that it just doesn’t matter?
