Given how few people actually have high-definition televisions doesn’t it seem like there are a disproportionately huge number of high-resolution progressive scan DVD players on the market? It can only lead one to believe that most people who are buying them don’t realize that the only way to really tell a difference is to pair a progressive scan DVD player with a digital or high-definition television. I’m sure that the sales people at electronics stores are pretty good about glossing over that fact.
