Since the FireWire-less video iPod launch, Apple’s FireWire web page has managed to slip down into the depths of purgatory. And, rumors are surfacing that the new Intel-based Powerbooks will lose FireWire 400 completely and only keep one FireWire 800 port for the video editors. Say it ain’t so Apple, say it ain’t so.
