The V10K is a fancy watch without the ostentatious crust of jewels. V10K is short for 10,000 Vickers—Vickers being a measure of hardness and 10,000 being the 11 of hard things. Essentially, the watch face is made of commercial-grade synthetic diamond. Rado has been known for creating scratchproof watches and has now taken things to the theoretical (and metaphorical) limit.
Priced at a cool $5K, it s nice to know that even if you end up losing a hand in a thresher accident, your watch will come out unscathed.
