Reolink’s OMVI X16 PoE Security Camera keeps watch over a huge space and zooms in on the details with a single device. This camera has a 3-lens system: a 16MP dual-lens panoramic camera that combines two lenses to capture a 180-degree image, and a 4K pan-tilt-zoom, or PTZ, camera with 16x optical zoom. When the panoramic camera sees someone walking, riding, or driving, it zooms the PTZ camera in on them, so you get a clear image of their face or a vehicle license plate.

From November 3 through November 11, the Reolink OMVI X16 PoE Security Camera is on sale for $577.99, down from $679.99. That’s a $102 discount and 15% off.

A three-lens outdoor camera with a 180-degree view and 16x optical zoom

This camera is perfect for homeowners and business owners who want as few blind spots as possible but don’t wish to install multiple cameras. With this single unit, you capture 24MP of combined resolution with the 3 lenses. You can also continuously pan the PTZ camera 360 degrees and tilt it up to 95 degrees, and you get on-camera AI detection with video search capabilities, two-way audio, an IP66 weather-resistant metal housing, flexible recording options (including local recording via microSD card), and a 60W PoE injector.

You don’t need a subscription service to use all of the primary features of this product. The panoramic portion of the camera provides a constant 180-degree view of your yard, driveway, or parking lot, and you can motor-tilt the panoramic section between 0 and 22 degrees to adjust your view. The PTZ portion of the camera uses a variable focal length lens between 5.3 and 86mm with an f-stop rating of F1.6, letting you zoom up to 16x while maintaining 4K resolution. So you can clearly see details, whether you’re viewing a license plate at the end of a long driveway or seeing who’s standing at a far gate.

SyncTrack allows both cameras to communicate with each other. When the panoramic view detects motion, the PTZ lens turns, zooms in on, and follows the subject, even after it leaves the panoramic view. You may also tap any part of the panoramic view within the Reolink app to immediately direct the PTZ lens to that location.

The on-camera AI can detect people, vehicles, and animals, limiting alerts to the most relevant information. Local AI Video Search lets you enter a simple description, such as “black van” or “person wearing a hat,” and the software locates those exact moments in your stored recordings without charging additional fees. You may also create up to 64 preset positions and assign up to 16 stops for patrol routes.

For storage, you can insert a microSD card up to 512GB into the camera, connect to a Reolink NVR, or store footage via an FTP or NAS server. Two-way audio lets you speak with visitors directly from the app, and the IP66-rated metal housing suits wall, ceiling, and corner mounts. The included PoE injector supplies power and data to the camera using a single Ethernet connection.

The Reolink OMVI X16 PoE Security Camera brings together a 180-degree panoramic view, 16x optical zoom, and smart tracking in one comprehensive system. This is an excellent choice if you require serious protection for your large property without monthly charges.
