Embargoes be damned! Mobility Today just posted a review of the Palm Treo 750 for Cingular (after being read the riot act by Palm earlier today). The reviewer calls it “one of the best PocketPC Phone Edition devices ever to be released.” Guess he liked it. It’s the first 3G Treo as well, so it’s got some decent technology behind it and isn’t just another pretty face. There’s also a decided lack of bundled apps in this Treo, which is kinda strange given that it’s probably going to be aimed at corporate users (as opposed to the Treo 680 which is more for consumers). Bottom line? The Treo 750 seems to be a winner, but Cingualr already offers two other 3G smartphones that just happen to be cheaper (the 750 is $400).
