A slide-out USB connector and infrared port are some of the more creative features on Rio Japan’s new flash-based Unite 130 MP3 players. A four line OLED, line-in port and of course, an FM tuner and voice recorder might make the Unite sound rather tempting, were it not for prices from $150/256MB to $360/2GB. A fair breadth of audio formats (including OGG Vorbis) won’t make up for it, either. Available later this month in Japan, so start folding your yen.
