Roku Search Finds the Video You Want No Matter Where It's Hiding

Roku Search is a new one-stop tool that helps you find the content you want to watch across the many streaming services available on the set-top box. This new centralized search is an obvious addition that makes Roku more useful. Bravo.

Instead of going from one service to the next trying to find a particular show or movie, you can now use Roku Search. The tool queries the libraries of Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, Hulu Plus, Crackle, VUDU, and HBO GO to see which service has what you're looking for. According to the Roku blog, the new tool will help you search amongst 130,000 different titles as well as nearly 100,000 directors.

Roku Search will be available automatically as a push update on Roku 2, Roku LT, new Roku HD. If the automatic update is taking too long, you can manually update your Roku software to the latest version that will be available later today. [Roku]
