Roland Emmerich’s insatiable desire to destroy the world continues in the new trailer for 2012, where he brings down the wrath of the apocalypse upon one poor monk and his bell. This end of days movie takes place in the special year when the world is supposed to end — and it’s about how the already-aware government prepares for the free-for-all. The cast includes John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Danny Glover, Woody Harrelson and Thandie Newton and will hit theaters on July 10, 2009.
