The Up Lamp aims (GET IT??) to remedy that with a tilted funnel that rotates to send lumens only where you want them: against the wall, at a pretty plant, your action figure collection, and so on.
Designed by Swedish company TAF, the Up is made of cast aluminum, has a rubber switch on the back, and comes in green, white, and grey. It is extremely giffable. [Dezeen]
