This prototype, called ‘Ruby,’ is being shown off at IDF Japan 2005. It’s sort of a weird cross between a Tablet PC and a PDA, with a Pentium M ULV 600 processor and a touch screen—it also runs Windows XP Tablet Edition. It’s a pretty slick engineering accomplishment, but will anybody actually want to use something this size?
