ThinkSecret is reporting the supposed details of Apple’s Power Mac, iMac, and eMac upgrades, presumed to be officially unveiled by the company at the upcoming NAB conference. There’s nothing terribly mind-blowing, mostly because there is still no confirmation as to whether the top-end Power Mac G5s (with speeds up to 2.7GHz) will have a dual-core version of the 970 processor or not.
It also appears that rumors of a Blu-ray compatible SuperDrive were pie-in-the-sky, although the rumors say dual-layer DVD+R support is likely. Everything else sounds extremely reasonable, with modest performance bumps across the line.
