Charlie Demerjian points out three new gaming controllers shown off by Saitek at E3 (I don’t even remember seeing their booth). The most notable seems to be a $30 wireless joypad with a switch that toggles the right analog pad from a joystick to a mouse, letting you control all the functions of your PC games, in theory (it was a bit wonky when he was playing with it).
Since that’s not much to look at in a picture, though, check out the new Saitek X52 joystick and throttle combo, with a built-in LCD screen (for unknown purpose). I’ve always hated the way Saitek joysticks look, but they’ve got feature sets to die for.
