Strategy Analytics is projecting that sixteen million cameraphones, which are cellphones with digital cameras built-in, will be bought this year, mainly in Japan and Europe. To put this number in perspective, sales of PDAs are expected to top out at around thirteen million. Cameraphones are going to be everywhere very, very soon.
