The next generation of the critically panned, BD-P1000 Samsung Blu-ray player is coming March 2007. The BD-P1200 improves on the first gen and has 1080p, HDMI 1.3, upconverting DVD (720p/1080i/1080p), Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, MPEG2, DTS, and MP3 support.

Not much else in terms of features over the first one, but the price of $799 doesn’t seem TOO ridiculous, you know, if you’re not a starving Ugandan child.
