Since it appears that it’s going to be a cellphone-themed Gizmodo this morning, how about this Samsung i550 PalmOS smartphone that was recently approved by the FCC for the US market? The Tri-Mode Dual Band Analog and PCS phone (Hrm. Who would use this PCS?) will have a 1-megapixel camera with flash, SD slot and MP3 playback controls on the exterior. The SPH-i550 looks to be a solid choice for Sprint customers who don’t need the integrated keyboard of the Treo 600—or who can’t manage to get their hands on one.
