The AP is reporting that Diego and Samsung have inked a deal to make set-top PVRs using Diego’s Moxi Media Center. Currently, the first generation of Moxi boxes are deployed in Huntsville in a testing capacity, but if everything goes as it should, the Moxi II boxes will be rolled out to both Charter and Adelphia cable television customers.
Moxi is a really solid platform and can handle HD recording without much of an issue, so if you’re in those cable providers’ markets, keep an eye open.
