The result of the Samsung Semiconductor and Freescale Semiconductor tag-team was apparently on display at the 3GSM show in Cannes, but nobody seemed to notice. Which is understandable, seeing as the model itself is about as remarkable as an D+ book report on my mom’s fridge. What’s interesting though is Samsung opting for UWB connection, which in theory should result in super-fast downloading and transferring of files from a PC. But considering that UWB isn’t really a household standard yet, I’d rather have something slower, but more useful, like Wi-Fi.
