Looks like all that increase in flash memory production (the same upswing that is making all our system RAM so expensive as memory makers switched to producing the more lucrative flash memory) is finally going to trickle down proper-like. SanDisk has $20 rebates on 512MB Compact Flash and SD cards on Amazon, bringing the CF down to $63.99 and the SD down to $95.99.
I just paid $105 dollars for a stick of PC3200 DDR, making this the first time (that I’ve noticed) SD cards going for less than decent-quality RAM.
