The E3Expo media center employees won’t let you eat or drink inside the press room, even if you’re using your own computer. I paid $7 for a hoagie, but I can’t eat it over my own keyboard? They offered to move us to the ‘press lounge,’ but it doesn’t have Wi-Fi. Most press rooms not only let you eat and drink while you work, but they usually provide the food.
But when I went to the media desk to ask the girl if they’d install wi-fi in the Press Lounge, what was she doing? Stuffing her mouth with corn chips and M&Ms over her computer. Her excuse? “Well, we’re here all day.”
Tomorrow I’m launching a full assault, and will be handing out Doritos at the door. This aggression will not stand, man. Fat journalists must eat!
