On his Flickr account, Scott Pilgrim creator Bryan Lee O'Malley's posted some of his earliest comics work: a Transformers choose-your-own-adventure from when he was eight-years-old. Can you see echoes of the Katayanagi brothers' robots in these illustrations?

Explains O'Malley:

This is a choose your own adventure-style book that I did when I was like 8 years old. I was always making comics and books. I've been writing and drawing ever since I was basically a baby.

I can't remember if this is a real character or a semi-made-up one. I always liked the cassette tape guys who came out of Soundwave's tummy.

Man, O'Malley wrote a brutal pick-a-path. Of course, those were the only good ones. Here's hoping this is his new secret project.
