The Yamagiwa Moonbird has 28 quarter-watt LEDs and sleek lines reminiscent of the Leaf Light, but its crane body is crafted from hand-carved plywood instead of metal.

It's designed by Yukio Hashimoto who says he designed it with the image of a bird perched under the moonlight in mind. I'd be interested to see how the wood deals with heat dissipation, but given you need to contact Yamagiwa for pricing, I'm sure I can't afford one anyway. Sure is perty, though.
