Sharp Chips in iPod Video (?)

This is just iPod day, isn’t it. Arstechnica is saying—and this is all rumors and lies—that the iPod Video will contain Sharp’s Sharp LH7A400 system-on-chip to drive the LCD and playback. That means you’ve got some flash card support, a little ARM processor action, and MPEG4, MP3, and JPEG decoding. That’s nice, isn’t it?
