In the last few hours, reports have confirmed a shooting spree at Virginia Tech. According to accounts, 33 people were killed, including the gunman himself. An additional 29 are reported as wounded. This is a terrible tragedy wherever it might occur, but Virginia Tech has special significance to us because of its many contributions to technology, and the world of gadgets. Our concerns and sympathies go out to the faculty, students and community.
