Sigmund And The Sea Monsters The Movie: Because New Ideas Are Expensive

Scraping the bottom of the idea barrel, Universal goes back to the 1970s to reboot the adorable monster-suit film Sigmund And The Sea Monsters. But the question remains: Will Universal come up with their story ideas the same way the Sid-And-Marty Krofft staff did, which I can only assume is a mix of uppers, downers and a touch of acid? This will be the second Krofft Show remake after the recently finished Land Of The Lost. With our luck they’ll cast the Jonas Brothers to play Johnny and Scott, and just tack on another human for good measure. But at least they are keeping in somewhat the same vein of the original, as this remake will have live-action monsters. Oh and just in case you thought this would be the last, don’t forget H.R. Pufnstuff is also getting remade at Sony.
