The Silverstone SDP01 is, basically, just another 6-in-1 media reader that installs into a spare PC 3.5-inch bay. Its stand-out feature is the ability to eject its reader hardware from the bay for use as a portable media reader with a laptop (or other USB host device). Designtechnica finds it capable, with a few dangling issues; specifically, the USB 2.0 cabling is too short, making internal PC mounting problematic and external use awkward, at best.
