While the designs of the Slappa ShockShell cases for the iPod mini are definitely hit or miss (more miss, actually, with the tribal designs, but I totally dig the ’60s swirly patterns [pictured]), they will likely be tough—Slappa is known for making hard-side cases that don’t feel bad in the hand. However, the Slappa logo on the bottom has got to go. Understand logos are way more hip, and if I’m going to pay $30-$35 for a case, I want it to be just right. Well, also, I don’t have a mini.
