Playlist Mag’s Dan Frakes has a great review of the Sonos Digital Music System (yes, the same one we linked to on Friday, but this review is much more in depth). I think it’s probably safe to say at this point that there’s nothing to worry about with this streaming media platform—if you’ve got the money, get it. The most surprising feature, though (and a total spoiler for Frakes’s article, sorry), is the barely-documented fact that each Sonos ZonePlayer base unit has a line-in port, which will let you stream audio from any external source over the Sonos’s mesh network to anywhere else on the system—extremely useful.
