Sony Corporation posted its 3rd quarter financial results today.
They showed a 9.6% year-on-year increase in total sales and revenue (up to ¥2,859 billion or $25.1 billion). Sales of 4.9 million PS3s helped push sales in the Gaming division up 31.2%, while items like Bravia TVs boosted the Electronics division up 10.2%. Sony Pictures, meanwhile, posted a 24.6% drop in sales through reduced revenues in movie and TV markets.
