Sony has announced that the PSP will be available in Europe starting on September 1, 2005 for 249 ( 179, $340) and will be offered in the standard Value Pack format, as per its launch in the US and Japan, so if you were perhaps hoping for, I don’t know, a built-in fish & chips browser or some such, you’re out of luck. (The key difference is actually that Sony will require owners to register their PSP in order to receive their copy of Spider-Man 2.) For more general bits on the PSP, check our unfortunately named PSP Omegapost at your earliest convenience.
