Sony’s DCR-HC40 MiniDV Handycam gets a solid review from PC Magazine, with a lot of nice features crammed into a small casing, with a reasonable $699 price. There a couple of niggling issues, mostly in the slightly awkward controls—especially the tendency for the camera to jerk around when using the on-screen LCD touch screen controls.
