Sony Ericsson abandons CDMA

In another sign that they’re continuing to struggle, it looks like Sony Ericsson is bailing on CDMA (at least in North America) and will stop making handsets compatible with that network standard. While most of Sony Ericsson’s really hot phones right now work on 3G or GSM anyway and so aren’t affected by the move, it does mean they’ll be dropping the T608, which was one of the first CDMA phones to have built-in Bluetooth.
