Sony Ericsson rolled out at the Z550, aimed at the midrange of the clamshell handset market. It’s a tri-band GPRS phone with a 1.3-megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom and an MP3 player.
A pretty basic phone with a 200×176 pixel display, it has Bluetooth capability and video recording and playback. Not a bad looking clamshell in either silver or gold colors; look for it in Q3 of this year.
