Laptop Magazine lives up to their name and reviews the Sony VAIO VGN-T350P—that’s the one with the built-in EDGE modem that works on Cingular’s cellular service. They like it quite a bit (I’m still not sold on paying 80 bucks a month while you can get Verizon’s EV-DO for the same amount), pointing out that EDGE currently is available in more cities, although the slow connection time (about 30 seconds from boot to connect) is less than optimal. I guess we’re going to have to agree to disagree.
