Sony Japan has a 40GB portable storage device designed for photographers that need to off-load lots of photos on the run. The HDD Photo Storage HDPS-M1 in only 5.3 by 3.5-inches, features MemoryStick and CF slots, USB 2.0 and simple one button copying functions. It’s built to be more of a ‘dump and forget’ device than an in-the-field editor, but at ¥29.800 (about $270) it’s actually not too bad of a deal (although the hard drive could be bigger. Maybe you can replace it?)
