SparkFun Electronics, described to me as a “couple guys out in Colorado,” are offering these hand-made rotary GSM cellular phones. They’re not cheap, at $400 a pop, but they’re not easy to make, either, and they’re just doing one-offs as they are ordered. But it is undeniably cool—they operate off of rechargeable batteries, you dial with the rotary, and incoming calls actually ring the bells. (Thanks, Ray!)
