Update: Reader Jon Hamlin writes: I know the guy that made that staircase. His name is Rod Miller, and he lives in Anderson, Indiana. I got a chance to see it in his workshop before it was delivered to Jones
house, and it is AMAZING. I don
t know if the article mentions it, but the entire staircase has fiber optic lighting running down the slide. Unbelievable craftsmanship.
