MobileBurn reviews the Samsung RL-A760, a relatively uninteresting phone that is most notable for being Sprint’s ‘next generation Push-to-Talk’ devices. Although they seem fairly accepting of its flaws, it certainly doesn’t sound like a perfect phone. Most frustratingly (or would be to me) is error messages while using the Ready Link push-to-talk service forces you to open up the clamshell and press a button to pass through them before closing it up and using it like a walkie-talkie again. It sounds like a decent bit of hardware that got rushed through usability testing. Too bad, too—now that Sprint is buying Nextel, they need to make sure they can do push-to-talk correctly.
