Sooner or later every category of gadget faces a price war, and it looks like it’s finally the cameraphone’s time for battle. Sprint’s going cut-rate with its new cameraphone, the SCP-8100 from Sanyo, which they’re going to sell for $99.99 after rebate. That would make it the most inexpensive cellphone you can buy with an integrated digital camera, at least in the US, and with any luck everyone else will be forced to follow suit and drop their prices as well.
