Gawker editors are really just one big happy family. That’s why I was excited when Ana Marie “Wonkette” Cox’s agent sent me a link to her story about Steve Jobs’ talk at the ‘D: All Things Digital’ conference last night, where he explained how suplexing subpoenaing bloggers’ email records makes for better journalism.
Swisher: “Would you have sued if the Wall Street Journal had done this?”
Jobs: “We might have. But the Wall Street Journal has serious thought behind it… the thing is today is that everyone can be a journalist… we are in a gray area and we are trying to help in some small way.”
