We all knew this was gonna be a problem. Geoff Einon recounts his difficulties with a Microsoft-powered cellphone, the SPV Smartphone from Orange. Stuck on the slopes after injuring himself while skiing, he needed to use his SPV to call for help. Well after waiting an agonizingly long time for the SPV to boot up, he discovered that at some point earlier he had accidentally switched the radio off, and couldn’t figure out how to turn it back on, thus rendering the phone useless. He managed to flag down a fellow skiier with a Nokia, and was able to finally get help.
