We've been hearing many different dates for T-Mobile's 3G rollout, but the latest one (October 1) seems to be a more solid date. Solid, that is, if you consider a lousy 8.5x10 printout taped to a wall outside a meeting room found by TmoNews to be solid. Nevertheless, October 1 seems to be the target date as of now, and we'll update when we hear more. [Tmonews]

I believe that I speak for most to all of current T-Mobile users when I say...

Jeez, I have been with them for 3 years now, and God I love them, but man, they have been taking their sweet, sweet time rolling out 3G. I understand it was held back by the feds due to the fact that they were occupying the 1700 mhz spectum and all, but man. And then there's that little gem. I just don't understand why they didn't piggyback AT&T and just release 3G on the 2100 spectrum. We would have had 3G capable devices available for sometime now.

Here's hoping that on October 1, 2008, I will be able to walk into a T-Mobile store and purchase a 1700 mhz SE Xperia X1.
